It’s about a 10-minute drive from the shop to today’s location by our vehicle.
We’ve arrived at the spot! While walking down the hill, we’ll check the waves.
Holding your excitement, carry your surfboard and make your way to the beach!

The goal is for you to be able to choose your own waves and perform take-offs from paddling using the whitewater (soup).
To achieve this, we place a strong emphasis on paddling practice.

Don’t give up, keep pushing yourself!

Once given the signal, you will paddle and perform the take-off movement up to step ① that you practiced earlier.
At this point, it’s important to catch the wave properly before starting the movement; otherwise, you’ll lose speed and won’t be pushed by the wave.

It’s normal to have difficulty standing up at the beginning.
But after each ride, the instructor will give clear, detailed, and helpful advice to help you improve!

By the second half of the session, you’ll be able to choose your own waves and paddle into the take-off without the instructor’s signal.
If you remember the practice methods taught here well, you’ll be able to go back home and continue practicing in the ocean on your own!

When you return to the shop, be sure to ask about any parts of today’s course that were difficult or unclear! Our passionate surf-loving staff will be happy to help you out.
